PKNS FC, MAHKOTA, KIDO AND RSC CHECK INTO QUARTER-FINALS

Action from match between Mahkota FC and YFA-Bintang Muda

Akademi Bolasepak PKNS FC together with Mahkota Football Academy and Kido Kickers Academy secured the remaining quarter-final spots from Group A while Royal Selangor Club (RSC) clinched the sole remaining place in Group B in the final day of league action played on Sunday 8.11.2009.

UKRC, who were in also contention for a place and needing maximum points from their two final matches made life difficult for themselves when the only could muster a scoreless draw against Shah Alam FC.

With UKRC fumbling and hoping the results of the other matches go their way, Kidokickers was the first to take advantage and when they easily defeated Astaka FC 4-0. to move on to 40 points and join Group A leaders YFA-Bintang Muda in the last eight. Next up was Mahkota FA who on 37 points, face a must win situation in their last remaining match in the league against group leaders YFA-Bintang Muda.

FOUR TEAMS CHECK INTO LAST EIGHT

Action from match between UKRC and Kelab Bolasepak Remaja Bangsar

The final week of the NOJCFL 2009 this weekend promises more excitement as team’s battle for the remaining quarter-final spots. Week 11 of the league played last weekend at the University of Malaya grounds, saw YFA-Bintang Muda being the only team from Group A to confirm a quarter-final spot while three teams in Group B, Akademi Bolasepak MBPJ, Akademi Soccerkids and Gen Pro checked into the last eight..

In Group A, four teams Akademi PKNS FC, Kido Kickers Academy, Mahkota Football Academy and UKRC are in the running for the last three spots. Of the three teams, Akademi PKNS FC are in pole position after securing a hard fought 1-1 draw with tournament favourites YFA-Bintang Muda to move into 38 points and only need 3 more points from their two remaining games against 5th placed UKRC and Astaka FC.

BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR TOP TEAMS

Action from match between Soccergurus KF Academy and Akademi Bolasepak Kota Damansara

 

After a two month break, the National Junior League resumed week 10 of league action with YFA-Bintang Muda and Akademi Bolasepak MBPJ still leading the pack in their respective groups.

This weeks matches were played in the Rubber Research Institute Of Malaysia (RRI) ground due to the unavailability of the League’s home venue League, Dataran Petaling Jaya . In Group A, Group leaders YFA-Bintang Muda continued their fine form when they easily overcame Astaka FC 4 – 1 in their first match of the day.
